The project is nearing completion with only punchlist work remaining.

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

On the afternoon of October 12 the contractor will be coating the existing asphalt surface with fresh oil and sand on Hunter Road. The oil will help the top coat of asphalt bond to the existing layer. The layer of sand is to help prevent tracking the oil into your driveways. Please try to keep your driving to a minimum while the oil dries. If you must drive on the oil, please drive slowly to help prevent splattering onto your vehicle.

Weathering permitting the contractor will then begin to pave the final layer of asphalt on Hunter Road on Thursday, October 13.
